Colombia's Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies, IDEAM, issued a meteorological report at 05:00 on 30 October forecasting light to moderate afternoon rain across multiple Colombian Caribbean departments.

IDEAM has also issued hydrological alerts for possible flash floods and rising waters across 197 Colombian hydrographic subzones.
